The Exium Client (also known as an agent) is a small piece of software that runs on user devices such as laptops or mobile phones. This software secures network traffic from/to the device and protects the device while online.
There are two methods to install the Exium client on to PCs and mobile devices.
The first method is to install the client manually by sending the User(s) an email with instructions. This method works for all OS types including mobile devices with iOS and Android. The steps are:
Windows: https://docs.exium.net/en/public/Clients/Windows/Install_Windows
Mac OS: https://docs.exium.net/en/public/Clients/MacOS/Install_MacOS
iOS (iPhone): https://docs.exium.net/en/public/Clients/IOS/Install_iOS
Android: https://docs.exium.net/en/public/Clients/Android/Install_Android
Chrome OS: https://docs.exium.net/en/public/Clients/ChromeOS/Install_ChromeOS
A sample of the email that users receive is shown below.
The second method is to automatically install the Exium client using RMM tools. This method does not require user interaction (it is “silent”).
Detailed instructions for this method are here:
