To check if your device’s traffic is secured by the Exium service, on the device, browse to https://block.block.
The system tray icon is located next to the clock on the windows Taskbar. When you have Exium client installed on the device, and have enabled “User Controls” in the workspace, you will see “Speerity Toggle App” in the system tray icon as shown in the picture below.
On a Mac device, the "Speerity ON/ OFF Toggle" appears on the top right bar as shown in the screenshot below.
Another way to check if your connection is secured by Exium, run the nslookup
command as below.
root@vm3:~# nslookup google.com
Server: 172.18.1.100
Address: 172.18.1.100#53
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: google.com
Address: 74.125.197.101
Server name and Address should point to a DNS server IP starting with 172 and ending in 100 as in the above example of
172.18.1.100
