Dear Exium MSP Partners,
We are excited to share the latest enhancements to Exium’s Unified SASE and XDR Solutions, designed to strengthen the security posture of your SMB and mid-market clients. Our commitment to delivering robust, comprehensive protection across diverse platforms continues to grow, ensuring that no device or operating system is left unprotected.
Starting this week, you can now extend your security offerings to include Chromebooks alongside Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android devices. With Exium's SASE solution, MSPs can provide full protection to clients across all devices and platforms, overcoming the limitations of endpoint solutions that typically cover only a subset of devices. For more details on how to secure Chromebooks, please refer to our documentation here.
Exium SASE provides two distinct types of secure access: Secure Internet Access (SIA) for protecting web and SaaS applications, and Secure Private Access (SPA) for Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to private applications and resources. Earlier this year, we introduced SSO/MFA-based authentication for our SASE agents, allowing you to enable this feature for both SIA and SPA. With our latest enhancement, MSPs can now specifically configure SSO/MFA-based authentication for users accessing critical private resources through SPA. For further information, please refer to our documentation here.

We understand the importance of maintaining optimal network performance, which is why Exium’s SASE solution is designed with flexibility in mind. Our agents utilize a higher Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) size of 1420 bytes to maximize throughput while ensuring compatibility with the standard MTU of 1500 bytes. However, we recognize that certain deployment scenarios may require adjustments for seamless operation. Exium allows administrators to modify the MTU size down to 1280 bytes when needed, enhancing connectivity and operational continuity across different networking components.
