¶ Allow SSH on WAN Interface
SSH is Blocked on WAN Interface as default security configuration for Cyber Gateway. You can allow SSH on WAN interface on specific cases where access would be required. Please note that SSH allow/block is applicable if WAN IP is Public IP. If WAN IP is private IP , SSH is always allowed as this Internal to user network.
¶ Configuring SSH Allow/Block in Admin console
To configure DHCP server for a new Cyber Gateway deployment, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the MSP admin console -> Client Workspace
- Click on Sites → CyberGateways in the left menu bar → Add Gateway if deploying a new CGW
- Toggle the “SSH over WAN” switch to “Yes” (see screen shot below). “yes” will allow SSH access and “no” will block SSH on WAN Interface/IP
