This document describes steps to enable Always ON on Android devices. This option will keep the client connected and secured on device reboots.
¶ Enable Always ON mode on Android
¶ Step 1: Go to Settings
Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Battery and device care. Tap Battery, and then tap Background usage limits. The following settings will be available:
¶ Step 2: Add Wireguard App in the “Never sleeping apps”
You can add WireGuard in the “Never sleeping apps” list. This way, that will never turn off or sleep in the background so you’ll always be connected.
- Tap on “Never sleeping apps”
- Add WireGuard to the list by tapping the + sign, selecting the WireGuard app, and then tapping Add.
